Founded in 1987, NeurIPS is one of the most renowned conferences in machine learning and computational neuroscience, with an h-index of 192.The paper proposes a novel pipeline that focuses on maximizing Mutual Information between representations of sentences that share similar semantics. This additional step would improve multilingual embeddings for the downstream task of Neural Machine Translation.
